Nuclear energy is one of the hot topics right now in Belgian politics and media. Nuclear fission is used all around the globe, but what about nuclear fusion? How does that really work and why do we hear so little about practical applications?
If nuclear fusion interests you, then you’re in luck. We, in cooperation with Professor William D’haeseleer, are organizing a lecture on this topic. The working principles as well as current and future designs will be explained.
When?: Tuesday 30th of april 2019. The lecture will start at 19:ooh but you will be able to enter the room at 18:30h.
Where?: Aula R, Department of Electrical Engineering (ESAT). Kasteelpark Arenberg 10, Leuven.
Who?: Professor William D’haesleer
For whom? Engineering and PHD students, others are welcome as well but a background in physics is advised
